Great tripod system, easy setup

I ordered the Deadeye Rifle Tripod System about a month ago for my hog hunting setup. The ordering process on the website was straightforward; I found what I needed easily. It arrived in about 6 days, which was reasonable. The packaging was secure, and everything was protected. Setting up the tripod was simple, and the instructions were clear. I used it last weekend, and it was very stable. The ball head adjusted smoothly, and I had no trouble getting a steady aim even on uneven ground. The quality seems durable. I called customer service once with a question about an accessory, and they answered quickly and were helpful. My only minor comment is that the carrying case felt a little snug, making it a tight fit to pack everything back up quickly. But overall, it's a solid piece of gear that performed as expected.

Decent scope mount

Got a Picatinny Rail Mount. It fit my rifle fine. Price was okay. Shipping was fast enough. No issues.

Hey, I'm looking at getting one of the Coyote Reapers, probably the XXL. How far can these things actually light up? Like, for real, real-world conditions?

M Mike 1 month ago
I've got the XXL, and man, it throws light. Easily spotting coyotes at 400+ yards, maybe more if it's super clear out. Never had an issue with range.

Yeah, I've used mine out to 300-350 yards comfortably for identification. Beyond that, it's more for seeing eyes than details, but it definitely reaches.

Thinking about getting a Coyote Reaper, but also looking at some Wicked Lights setups. What's the main difference, like why go with Predator Tactics instead?

N Noor Osei 1 month ago
I've used both. Predator Tactics lights, especially the Reapers, just feel more robust and the throw seems better. Plus, I like the modularity for changing colors.

Honestly, it's mostly personal preference. Both are good. I found the Predator Tactics lights to have a slightly better beam focus for those longer shots, but Wicked Lights are solid too. Just compare features and decide what matters most to you.

Thinking of picking up a whole setup for hog hunting, including the Deadeye tripod. What's their return policy like if it doesn't work out for some reason?

Returns were pretty straightforward for me when I got the wrong mount. Just make sure it's in new condition and you're within the window. Check their site for the exact days, I think it's 30.

Yeah, I returned a battery charger once. No hassle, just printed a label and sent it back. Got my refund pretty quick.

Anyone know if Predator Tactics does free shipping? Trying to decide if I should wait for a sale or just grab what I need now.

D Dan V. 1 month ago
Pretty sure it's free shipping over 100 bucks. Most of their lights hit that mark easily.

Yeah, I got free shipping on my last order. Think it was over a hundred bucks. Standard ground, but it got here fast enough.
